Saturday night was show night at Invicta Grammar school when pupils sang, danced and played their way through an excellent evening's entertainment in aid of Maidstone Day Centre. The concert was organised by a group of the students and not only did the girls sell tickets to raise money but tea and home made cakes in the interval and raffle tickets for some really nice prizes that they had collected from local traders.
It was a pleasure to watch such slick performances from so many talented young people
and judging by the applause the audience thought so too. We are tremendously grateful to all the students who took part and to the teachers who gave their time.
The night was bitterly cold and snowy which made the reason for the concert, the welfare of our homeless and vulnerable clients, all the more relevant.
Thank you Invicta Grammar School, for helping to make a difference.
